Basingstoke – 17 October 2007 – Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today recognizes its ecosystem allies for their contributions in enriching the MOTO Z8 product experience. A multimedia powerhouse, the MOTO™ Z8 features crystal clear video capture and playback at 30 frames per second. The device also offers generous external memory support for media storage – from the optional 4GB cards available on the market today up to 32GB when larger capacity cards become available. Motorola coupled its own innovative design and technological expertise with industry-leading applications and solutions from Actimagine, CNN Mobile, DataViz, Podcast.com, ShoZu, weComm and Yahoo! to create the MOTO Z8, which recently hit store shelves.

Complementary to the MOTO Z8’s groundbreaking multimedia capabilities, Mobiclip delivers a unique and exciting mobile video experience, allowing customers to enjoy multimedia content with crystal clear video and high fidelity sound.
  • CNN Mobile – CNN International allows users to stay informed while on the go with CNN Mobile, the international news leader’s mobile internet site. A pre-embedded URL in the MOTO Z8’s internet browser allows direct access to CNN’s ‘World News Now’, an hourly, two-minute video news summary, as well as the easy-to-navigate home page with links to Top Stories, World News, Business, Weather, Sport, Entertainment and Lifestyle. The site offers in excess of 120 stories per day with multiple images to support and enhance each story and users will be able to search an archive from the last 14 days, with access to over 2000 stories. In addition, CNN’s citizen journalism area, iReport, offers users the chance to interact by providing their stories, pictures and videos direct from their mobile device.1
